One to Five Stars (15 points)

Pick one of the movies mentioned in the lesson and write a review in 150 words or more. Include a short synopsis of the movie, how the personal issue was shown in the piece and whether you think the filmmakers did it justice in showing it on film. While all movies are appropriate for teenagers or above, do take note that there is violence present in the movies, to a varying degree.

Do I Have to Save the Day? (15 points)

Is it true that people with superpowers must be superheroes? Is it their duty to be a superhero even if their personal lives continue to spiral downward as we can see with Peter Parker as Spiderman? In general, are people with superpowers always obligated to act in a way that promotes the overall good, even if doing so comes at great personal cost?

Address this issue in 150 words or more. There is no right or wrong answer, I am just looking for your opinion. If you use any sources supporting your reasoning, please cite them.

Versus (15 points)

In the lesson, we mentioned the debate between Charles Xavier and Magneto on the fight between humans and mutants. Research further into this issue (either through movies, comic books or both) and tell me, who you support. Why? Write at least 150 words and cite any sources that you use.
